Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately process and verify high-volume incoming invoices for coding, approval, and payment.
- Reconciliation: Match purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices to ensure 100% accuracy before payment.
- Vendor Management: Communicate professionally with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and payment inquiries.
- Account Maintenance: Maintain the accounts payable sub-ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Reporting: Assist in month-end close activities, including accruals and variance analysis.
- System Management: Utilize ERP software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) to manage payment schedules and reporting.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable or a related finance role.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for vendor interactions.
- Schedule: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
