Responsibilities
- Process high-volume invoices and ensure timely payment within established vendor terms
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies through proactive communication
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for all payable documentation
- Collaborate with purchasing department to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
- Support month-end closing activities including accruals and payment reconciliations
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) for invoice processing and payment tracking
- Adhere to internal controls and SOX compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience in a corporate environment
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Experience with high-volume invoice processing and payment cycles
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Weekend shift availability (Saturday/Sunday) is mandatory
- Excellent communication skills for vendor and stakeholder interactions
