Key Responsibilities
- Process and verify a high volume of vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and issue payments via ACH, wire transfer, or check.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships.
- Manage the AP filing system and ensure records are up to date.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 1-3 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable.
- Must be available to work the weekend shift (Saturday and Sunday).
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
