Responsibilities
- Process high-volume vendor invoices and ensure timely payments within weekend deadlines
- Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records
- Collaborate with international teams across time zones via digital communication tools
- Optimize AP processes using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and automation tools
- Conduct month-end closing activities and financial reporting support
- Manage vendor inquiries and build strong relationships through weekend correspondence
- Ensure compliance with UK financial regulations and internal controls
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in accounts payable or finance operations
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and international vendors
- Relevant finance qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACCA preferred)
- Excellent written communication skills for remote stakeholder interactions
