Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment
- Manage purchase orders, expense reports, and payment reconciliations
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to resolve payment discrepancies
- Support month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and UK financial regulations
- Utilize SAP and Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in accounts payable or finance role
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday)
- Understanding of UK VAT regulations and payment processing
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Relevant finance or accounting qualification (AAT/CIMA beneficial)
