Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and coding before posting to the general ledger.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes promptly.
- Manage the weekend AP workflow, including high-volume data entry and check issuance.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status, missing documentation, and inquiries.
- Assist in month-end close procedures and financial reporting during the weekend shift.
- Maintain organized digital and physical records of all financial transactions and vendor contracts.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) is strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with high volumes of data without errors.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
