Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately process and verify invoices, ensuring they comply with company policies and terms of payment.
- Vendor Management: Maintain accurate vendor profiles and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Reconciliation: Perform month-end and year-end reconciliations of the accounts payable ledger.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of AP reports for management review and audits.
- System Management: Manage accounts payable software and ensure data integrity across all platforms.
- Policy Adherence: Ensure all financial transactions adhere to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or a related financial role.
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and AP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Urgency: Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in an urgent hiring environment.
