Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization before processing payments.
- Process accounts payable transactions in a timely manner to ensure vendors are paid on time.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status.
- Reconcile accounts payable accounts and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions.
- Assist with financial reporting and audits as required.
- Perform research and data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Oracle NetSuite.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
