Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and prepare necessary journal entries.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors regarding payment status.
- Utilize accounting software to manage accounts payable workflows and reporting.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups).
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with excellent time management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
