Position Overview
We are seeking an organized and proactive AP professional to manage our financial workflows with precision. You will be the bridge between our company and our vendors, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements on a monthly basis and resolve any billing discrepancies promptly.
- Manage the full AP cycle, ensuring all bills are paid according to agreed-upon terms.
- Communicate effectively with vendors to address billing questions and resolve outstanding issues.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes by providing accurate financial data and reports.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents and records.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and data entry tasks to support the finance team.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting roles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills are mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and stay focused in a remote work environment.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
