We are looking for someone who takes pride in accuracy and efficiency. As a Night Shift AP Specialist, you will be the backbone of our accounts payable operations, ensuring timely vendor payments and accurate record-keeping.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness before payment.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage the AP cycle, including data entry, coding, and approval routing.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes during night shifts.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors regarding billing inquiries.
- Identify and report potential process improvements to the Finance Manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
- Experience working the night shift or ability to work flexible evening hours.
- Proficiency with AP software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation methods.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
