Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Match purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices to ensure proper documentation.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries promptly via email or phone.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, including accruals and reconciliation.
- Maintain and update the AP general ledger and fixed asset registers.
- Assist with the implementation of new accounting software and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Bookkeeping.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP strongly preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently during the night shift.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when dealing with vendors.
