Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices for accuracy, coding, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and billing inquiries.
- Perform month-end close activities related to Accounts Payable, including accruals and adjustments.
- Assist with month-end audits and ensure all documentation is up to date and organized.
- Maintain and update the vendor master file and general ledger accounts.
- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to input financial data and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) and data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines in a night shift environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
