Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Manage the entire accounts payable cycle including coding, batching, and payment processing
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Maintain organized digital and physical records of all transactions
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment inquiries
- Ensure compliance with company policies and SOX regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
- Experience working night shifts or flexible hours
- Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
