Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and authorization, ensuring timely payment to vendors.
- Manage and maintain vendor master data, including address updates and banking information.
- Reconcile accounts payable statements and resolve discrepancies with internal departments and vendors.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and analysis.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) to enter data and generate reports.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payment status in a professional manner.
- Prepare reports for management on cash disbursements and outstanding balances.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related finance roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
