Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization before payment.
- Enter and code invoices into the ERP system (SAP/Oracle) accurately.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies or exceptions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly A/P reports for management review.
- Communicate professionally with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and general ledger account reconciliation.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both digital and physical documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable or a similar financial role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and Word.
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) is a strong plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors quickly.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
