Responsibilities
- Perform month-end closing procedures including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with preparation of financial statements and regulatory compliance reports
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with 99.8% accuracy
- Conduct variance analysis and support internal audit processes
- Utilize QuickBooks and SAP for transaction processing and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and analysis
- Participate in process improvement initiatives for accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (3.2+ GPA preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, macros)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
- 0-2 years of relevant internship or academic project experience
- CPA or CPA candidate status highly desirable
