Responsibilities
- High-Volume Processing: Accurately and timely process high-volume invoices in our ERP system.
- Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies efficiently.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Payment Execution: Manage bank transfers, ACH payments, and check runs according to strict payment terms.
- Reporting & Analysis: Assist in month-end close processes and prepare variance reports to track AP performance.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2-4 years of verifiable experience in Accounts Payable or Finance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle; Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) required.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and manage large volumes of data.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to commute to Chicago, IL.
