Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and reconciliation of bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor the annual budget.
- Process payroll accurately and timely using our financial software.
- Provide financial reporting support to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors and inconsistencies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
