Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, coding, and approval in a timely manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or payment errors.
- Manage the entire AP workflow, including data entry and maintaining the general ledger.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing inquiries.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting support.
- Utilize accounting software to track expenses and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) or MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage high-volume transaction processing.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
