Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately process, code, and verify high volumes of incoming invoices according to company policies.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolve billing discrepancies, and ensure timely payments.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts payable sub-ledgers and bank statements to ensure accuracy.
- Month-End Close: Assist in the month-end close process by preparing aging reports and supporting schedules.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Software: Proficiency in AP automation software (e.g., AvidXchange, Coupa) and ERPs (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is preferred.
- Excel Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail when handling financial data.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
