Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization.
- Process invoices and payments in a timely manner using our accounting software.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and organized AP files and ledgers.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice issues.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and reporting.
- Perform general clerical duties related to accounts payable as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles is preferred but not required (on-the-job training provided).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
