Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring adherence to company policies and approval hierarchies.
- Perform three-way matching on purchase orders, receiving reports, and invoices to prevent errors.
- Reconcile vendor statements monthly and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Manage accounts payable workflows, including data entry, payment runs, and maintaining the AP ledger.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes by providing necessary AP reports and analysis.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status and invoice details in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related financial roles.
- Proficiency with AP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and general ledger functions.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in large datasets.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with vendors and internal departments.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
