Responsibilities
- Process and verify high-volume invoices using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Execute daily payment runs with same-day pay option for eligible vendors
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies within 48 hours
- Optimize invoice approval workflows to achieve 95%+ on-time payment rate
- Collaborate with procurement on vendor contract terms and payment terms
- Generate monthly AP aging reports and KPI dashboards
- Lead month-end closing procedures for accounts payable
- Implement process improvements using automation tools (Coupa, Tipalti)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or 5+ years AP experience
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Excel pivot tables
- Proven track record of processing 500+ invoices monthly
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
- Experience with daily pay platforms and real-time payment systems
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAP) preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in fully remote environment with self-management
