Responsibilities
- Process and code invoices accurately according to company policies and payment terms.
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies to resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare and issue payments via ACH, wire transfer, or check, ensuring proper authorization.
- Manage the vendor onboarding process and maintain up-to-date vendor master files.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and prepare required reconciliations.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external vendors regarding billing inquiries.
- Monitor expense reports and approve invoices within established limits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage a high volume of transactions.
