Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and manage vendor relations through timely communication.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and issue payments via ACH, wire transfer, or check, ensuring adherence to payment terms.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and adjustments.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP) to track AP activity and generate reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in an Accounts Payable role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Oracle, or NetSuite is a strong plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team setting.
