Responsibilities
- Process high-volume vendor invoices and expense reports with 99.9% accuracy
- Reconcile AP ledger and resolve payment discrepancies proactively
- Optimize payment cycles to maximize vendor relationships and early payment discounts
- Collaborate with procurement and treasury departments on financial controls
- Generate AP analytics reports for monthly financial reviews
- Implement process improvements using automation tools like Bill.com
- Ensure SOX compliance for all payment documentation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven track record in month-end closing and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail under tight deadlines
- Experience with EDI and e-payment processing systems
- Associates degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
