Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and coding according to company guidelines.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update the vendor master database to ensure data integrity.
- Prepare and distribute monthly reports on AP activity and aging.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting support.
- Utilize AP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) to manage workflow.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred; 2-4 years of relevant AP experience required.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
