Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable transactions and vendor payments within Net-30 terms
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Implement and maintain internal controls for payment processing
- Collaborate with procurement on 3-way matching for purchase orders
- Analyze payment trends to optimize cash flow and early payment discounts
- Support month-end closing with AP reconciliations
- Manage vendor master data and ensure W-9 compliance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience in a corporate setting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- ERP system experience (SAP or Oracle preferred)
- Certified Accounts Payable Professional (CAP) designation a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
