Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and timely payment
- Reconcile accounts payable ledger and resolve discrepancies
- Manage vendor inquiries and payment status communications
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Maintain organized filing of financial documents and contracts
- Collaborate with procurement and finance teams on payment processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be available to work part-time, approximately 20-25 hours per week
