Responsibilities
- Process and verify high volumes of invoices (PO, non-PO, and expense reports) with 100% accuracy.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently to maintain good vendor relationships.
- Enter and code financial data into the ERP system (SAP/Oracle) during off-peak hours.
- Prepare and issue checks, ACH payments, and electronic transfers in a timely manner.
- Assist with month-end close procedures, including accruals and account analysis.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all Accounts Payable records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with ERP software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines without direct supervision.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts as scheduled.
