Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any payment discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the AP ledger.
- Prepare and process weekly and monthly vendor payments.
- Assist in the month-end closing process and financial reporting.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage).
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
