Responsibilities
- Manage complex financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for executive leadership
- Lead month-end closing processes and reconcile accounts across multiple entities
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems for remote operations
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in remote/hybrid environments
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, or similar accounting platforms
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Proven track record of managing multi-state accounting operations
