In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining our financial health by ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices. You will work closely with our finance team to support daily operations and contribute to the efficiency of our accounts payable department.
Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Review and process incoming invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and required approvals.
- Data Entry: Enter invoice data into our financial software systems with a high degree of precision.
- Vendor Relations: Communicate with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
- Reconciliation: Assist in monthly account reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure ledger accuracy.
- Reporting: Generate and maintain reports to support the finance department’s monthly close process.
- Administrative Support: File documents, maintain organized records, and assist with general accounting duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: No prior accounting experience required; we value attitude and aptitude over history.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (basic functions and data entry).
- Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
