Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness, ensuring they are coded correctly and approved according to company policy.
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including data entry, matching, batching, and payment processing via ERP systems.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing errors in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to clarify invoice details and resolve payment issues.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all accounts payable documents.
- Assist with month-end close procedures, including accruals and account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly reports and summaries of accounts payable activity as requested by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and discrepancies.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
