Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness before approval.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Enter invoice data into the accounting system (ERP) with a high degree of accuracy.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date vendor files and records.
- Prepare and issue payments via check, electronic transfer, or ACH according to payment terms.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes as needed.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing questions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a plus).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new accounting software and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- No prior experience required; we value attitude and aptitude over experience.
