Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and general ledger journal entries.
- Conduct internal audits and variance analysis to support financial reporting.
- Manage payroll processing for night shift staff and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies or exceptions.
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax reports with the state and federal government.
- Support the month-end close process with timely and accurate data entry.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of professional accounting experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, macros).
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) as required.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
