Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with accuracy
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts monthly
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
- Support tax preparation documentation and compliance audits
- Utilize QuickBooks software for daily bookkeeping tasks
- Collaborate with cross-department teams on financial projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and bookkeeping practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data entry, pivot tables)
- QuickBooks certification or hands-on experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Florida driver's license (client site visits required)
