Responsibilities
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including variance analysis and journal entry preparation.
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and internal reports for executive leadership.
- Manage the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and intercompany transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and improve cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and excellent communication skills.
