Responsibilities
- Invoice Verification: Review, verify, and code incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Payment Processing: Process accounts payable transactions, including checks and electronic fund transfers, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Vendor Relations: Maintain and update vendor master files, resolve billing discrepancies, and communicate effectively with suppliers.
- Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliation of vendor statements and general ledger accounts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Reporting: Assist with month-end close procedures and prepare various financial reports as requested by management.
- Record Keeping: Organize and maintain an efficient filing system for all financial documents and invoices.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; we provide comprehensive training for motivated candidates.
