Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for UK-based clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with weekly reconciliation processes
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC tax regulations
- Lead month-end closing procedures and variance analysis
- Develop financial forecasting models for business planning
- Collaborate with audit teams during quarterly reviews
- Maintain accurate financial records in cloud-based systems
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent UK accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years UK accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of UK tax legislation (Corporation Tax, VAT, PAYE)
- Experience with multi-currency transactions
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proven ability to meet tight weekly reporting deadlines
