Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with reconciliations for balance sheets and income statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely vendor payments
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for financial controls
- Collaborate with leadership on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and state-specific Florida tax regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of public accounting or corporate accounting experience
- CPA certification or active pursuit required
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of Florida tax laws and payroll regulations
- Proven experience with financial reporting and month-end close processes
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
