Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and reconcile client bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Prepare and generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and support the tax team during filing season.
- Perform monthly close procedures and variance analysis to identify financial trends.
- Communicate complex financial information to clients in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions required).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
