Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments with clear recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential default
- Collaborate with commercial lending teams to structure optimal financing solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and internal credit policies
- Present complex financial data to stakeholders through concise executive summaries
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and credit agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, Bloomberg)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and credit risk assessment methodologies
- Proven ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends
- Excellent written communication skills for credit documentation
