Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for tech clients
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable/receivable with weekly reconciliation
- Lead month-end closing processes with audit-ready documentation
- Implement and optimize accounting software integrations (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Prepare tax filings and compliance documentation for California entities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and financial modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in tech/startup environments
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience with weekly payroll processing and cash flow management
- Strong GAAP knowledge and California tax compliance expertise
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
