Responsibilities
- Manage General Ledger: Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Month-End Close: Lead the month-end close process, ensuring all reconciliations are completed on time.
- Compliance & Audits: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certification: CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Software: Proficient in QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero; advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of integrity.
