Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process payroll in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and tax filings.
- Conduct regular audits and internal controls to ensure compliance.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Provide detailed financial reporting to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and MS Excel (Advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and federal tax laws.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
