Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for high-value clients
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll, and tax compliance
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial forecasting and budgeting
- Maintain compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry-specific regulations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with zero tolerance for errors
- Develop customized financial models for strategic decision-making support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven track record in managing complex multi-state tax filings
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to microscopic detail
- Strong communication abilities for presenting financial insights to non-finance leaders
- Experience with forensic accounting and internal controls implementation
