Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations and general ledger activities to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis to identify discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely vendor and client payments.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and data.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve reporting processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 3+ years of proven experience in accounting or financial analysis is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation is a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills.
