Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and local compliance filings.
- Conduct month-end and year-end close procedures accurately and within tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve budgeting, forecasting, and internal control processes.
- Provide detailed financial reporting and analysis to management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
